It says that the military doesn't call pistols for guns, for some reason. But most others do, apparently.

2007-10-14 [Synsae]: ok, no offense... but... did not understand "doesn't call pistol for guns" did you mean "they do not call pistols guns"? That I knew, I spoke with a few men who fought during WW2... and they had a funny story about a man who kept calling his rifle a gun and how the DI kept disciplining him on that... anyways... I think the military calls firearms by pistols, revolvers, and rifles... so as to be correct in description... I mean... for example... if I soldier asks another for a gun... he might be given a pistol... when he really needs a rifle...
